Our Blended class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

 

You are enrolling in an American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Course.  After you enroll, you will receive a confirmation email from us.  Access to the online coursework will be provided via email upon completion of registration.  Be sure to check your In Box or Spam folder.

 

  • CHOOSE YOUR CLASS CAREFULLY. There are no refunds for choosing the wrong class..

  • Skills Performed on the Floor -Please dress comfortably as skills are performed on the floor. Students are required by the American Red Cross to perform one full round of CPR on the floor.  Should you have medical restrictions, please call our office before registering to inquire about possible accommodations. IMPORTANT:  Red Cross policy states that a student must be able to kneel beside an adult manikin on the floor for 2 minutes to take part in a simulated medical emergency.

  • BRING VERIFICATION OF YOUR ONLINE SESSION COMPLETION.  For American Red Cross Blended Learning classes, you must complete the online session prior to the in-person session with the instructor ( allow 1-3 hours to complete the online training).  The form of verification is the course completion certificate/letter provided to you by Red Cross.

  • LATE POLICY:  You cannot be admitted to a class more than 15 minutes late.  You will not be allowed to attend if you are late and will be required to register with full payment for another class. 
     

  • Masks are Optional (unless otherwise required by state/local govt or facility) **Coronavirus Alert – If you are sick or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please reschedule your training. All students will be held to the Terms and Conditions relative to illness and transfers.

  • No Children Allowed - students may not bring children to an in-person class (nursing infants are an exception)  

  • CLASS CANCELLATION:  In the event we have to cancel the class session, we will gladly reschedule your class.

 

EMPLOYERS:  When you are enrolling staff in our classes, please use a unique email address for each staff member you are enrolling.  Also, use a personal email account rather than a business account and a non-business phone number.

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. For more information please reference the attachment you will receive via e-mail when you register for this course.
